BigSpring’s reach extends globally to over a million learners with customers such as Google, Facebook, Uber, Amazon, Samsung, AXA Insurance, Sotheby’s, Tata Group and others. BigSpring has been selected by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer 2020 (past recipients included Google, Twitter, Airbnb, and Palantir).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a UX designer who is passionate about the learning/skill space and taking concepts from ambiguous and complex opportunities to simplified and intuitive solutions. As a member of our fast-paced and growing design team, you will be responsible for creating a best-in-class and globally scalable product.

In this role you’ll:

  • An online portfolio demonstrating creative process, design thinking, and UX and visual design solutions.
  • A bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, IA, or similar UX-related role, on enterprise products.
  • Proficient in a variety of design and prototype tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and time-management skills.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Thoughtfully identify user problems and experience opportunities.
  • Consider and capture observations, such as qualitative data, quantitative data, market audits and analysis, and technical constraints/opportunities.
  • Through divergent and convergent exploration, simplify complex ideas into intuitive and elegant experiences.
  • Design user-centered and empathetic experiences across platforms and devices, from responsive web applications to iOS and Android mobile apps.
  • Establish and maintain detailed practices, patterns, and specs – working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.

Preferred

  • Knowledgeable in best design practices across platforms and devices.
  • Proficient in web, Android and iOS development tools and front-end frameworks.

  • Knowledgeable of semantic HTML and CSS.

Why you’ll love working here:

  • You’ll be part of an innovation-driven, high-growth company on a mission to improve people’s lives
  • Competitive compensation package with equity
  • Exceptional medical, vision and dental coverage
  • Flexible vacation and PTO
  • Female Founder/CEO
  • Supportive, highly collaborative team environment
  • Bi-Weekly Learning Sessions
