Head of Product/Technology (Full-time)

We’re hiring a Head of Product/Technology to help take us to the next level. Based on milestones, the role could transition to that of CTO or CPO. You will:

• Work with the CEO to define the product vision and roadmap
• Own all major technological and design decisions
• Assess business and product requirements, and propose solutions accounting for scale and performance
• Establish design/engineering processes and standards
• Build — or hire the people to build — the tools and the data analytics across our platforms (website, app, newsletter, social media, etc.) to help grow a thriving online and offline community
• Run tests to drive conversion, growth, and engagement


Who we’re looking for

You are an experienced (4+ years) product designer or software engineer with proficiency in modern web development frameworks. You have strong product instincts. You have an eye for user-centric design, and can improve UI/UX. You collaborate well with non-technical teammates and communicate clearly. You can write or understand industry standards for clean, maintainable, scalable code and can develop, test, and iterate quickly.
