Senior Lead Product Designer

BlueTape is a fintech company focused on delivering payments and financing solutions to the construction industry. We have an amazing team backed by savvy investors. BlueTape has already changed the way that contractors and materials suppliers work together - and we are only getting started.

The selected candidate is going to be one of the first members joining the team of motivated and dedicated talents who are building a product from scratch. The selected candidate will be leading the design of the product into its next chapter, and working closely with the Product Manager and Engineers, creating new and enhancing features. There is an opportunity to become a full-time employee after the probation period.

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead UI/UX designer and take ownership of the product
• Research, plan, test, and implement new designs and prototypes
• Work closely with the product team and participate in product decisions
• Engage in the full software development product lifecycle as part of a cross-functional, agile team
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Develop compelling features using modern tools and technologies with a focus on building future-proof systems that perform at scale
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Work with product, marketing and engineering teams to address their design needs
• Reach out to the rest of team to help them

Experience & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer
• 4+ years of experience as a UI-UX Designer
• Knowledge of mobile guidelines for both platforms - iOS and Android
• Basic knowledge of interaction and animation
• Know how to prioritize and organize complex sets of information
• Have a strong baseline of visual and UI design abilities
• Have strong knowledge of wireframing and prototyping
• Able to work in Figma

Prefered Experience

• 3+ year experience working in Fintech, Banking, Lending or other relevant sectors
