Position Details:
UI/UX Designer (Product Designer) with the ability to work 40 hours per week at our Plano, TX headquarters (remote until COVID allows in-office work).
Who You Should Be:
- 4+ years of work experience on large transformation initiatives focused on process, development, and product design, preferably with a consulting firm, SaaS, or within the healthcare industry
- 4+ years of product/UX/UI design experience across web and mobile
- Subject Matter Expert Using Design Thinking methodologies to clearly define the problem and then collectively build a “future state” solution
- Graphic design or human-computer interaction education
- Strong facilitator able to effectively collaborate with business, product, platform, architecture, infrastructure, data, change management, legal and compliance, and other teams to deliver business value
- Expert, and proven application success with, Agile, Lean or Service Design and other similar frameworks
- Superior analytical capabilities and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences — with a passion for UX writing
- Confident using virtual whiteboarding tools such as Miro or Mural as well as in-person whiteboarding
- An eye for great branding and marketing
- A creative artist with excellent typography and iconography skills
- Thrive under ambiguity and short deadlines
- ADA and (WCAG) 2.1 knowledgeable
- Knowledgeable about the product development stack (JSON, Node, SQL, React, etc.)
What You Will Be Doing:
- Own deliverables from user research (e.g., persona development, user interviews, user testing) to prototyping (e.g., low fidelity screen flows, interaction prototypes, design explorations) and execution (e.g., high fidelity designs, asset creation, design-handoff, documentation)
- Produce State Process maps and/or Service Blueprints to define the current state and align partners on problem definition
- Produce Empathy and Journey maps to identify key difficult points and support exchanged views of the end-to-end process and client journey to facilitate empathy into the overall product design
- Write agile user stories
- Write testing scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Conduct QA/QC activities
- Data dictionary management
- Defining and implementing design systems
