The Role

Swoop is an exciting, fast-growing FinTech platform connecting SMEs to funding solutions and financial savings – taking the stress out of financing for SMEs. Say goodbye to lengthy searches, arduous application forms and black holes of information. Swoop leverages core data points and financial information to help business owners understand the marketplace and uncover the best funding and saving solutions for their businesses.

We’re growing our team across our London, Dublin and Sydney offices, and investing in taking our platform to new heights. This is a UK based role reporting into our Head of Partnerships & Verticals.

Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded individual to play a leading role in the growth and commercial performance of the online marketplace offer available to Swoop customers.

You will be responsible for managing the performance and profitability of a number of our marketplace products. You will also play a vital role in ongoing projects to expand the marketplace to include new partners or product verticals.

Building strong partner relationships, working closely with them to get the best possible offers for our customers, while also optimising acquisition opportunities for the partner, will be an integral part of the role.

You will build in-depth knowledge and expertise on each of the product verticals you own, setting ambitious commercial and marketing plans for your product segments and liaising with the Marketing and Tech teams to make these plans a reality.

Your insightful analysis will enable Swoop to continuously improve our performance, measured against our acquisition, conversion, retention and ROI targets.

Desired Skills & Experience
Ideally you will;

be confident in negotiating and managing commercial relationships;
be able to analyse a competitive market and develop effective marketing plans;
be able to link customer insights to product and marketing plans;
love to crunch the data to produce insightful reports;
had at least four years experience in a relevant marketplace or e-commerce business;
About you
You’ll be structured and organised, making sure that plans are in place, executed and measured consistently.
You have strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build and manage relationships with partners across a range of verticals.
You will enjoy working in a small, start-up culture with a “sleeves-rolled up” approach to getting things done.
You’ll have excellent critical analysis ability, and be able to define and hunt out the data you need.
A self-starter, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You can work across multiple teams both internally, externally and internationally.
