We’re looking for someone with a passion for programming and for writing beautiful code. You will join a team of exceptional developers working in a fast-paced environment to deliver world-class software.

We are looking for a STRONG Senior-level Ruby on Rails Lead Developer with at least 5+ years of experience doing full-stack development. Previous experience working for a Saas-based startup is strongly preferred.

Candidate MUST have prior experience with full-stack development and building features from the ground up. You must be comfortable being able to wear multiple hats and juggle multiple tasks at the same time. You will be responsible for taking on and solving the really hard coding/debugging issues and building user-friendly, well-designed end-to-end features.

Candidate MUST be very proficient in Ruby and must be comfortable writing complex code on the spot. A technical interview will be conducted and you will be asked to share your screen and write code. Don't apply if this makes you squirm.

Note that this is a 100% hands-on coding position. If you don't LOVE to code, don't apply.

Must have deep knowledge in following:

• Ruby on Rails
• Capistrano
• HTML/CSS/BootStrap
• MongoDB
• ElasticSearch, Searchkick
• Redis, Sidekiq
• TDD and RSpec

You're good at:

• Strong and clear written and verbal communication
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong Debugging and Planning skills
• Designing robust, scalable, and secure features
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, - refactoring, and code standards)
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into the design

Requirements :

• Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• You must have a LinkedIn profile
• You must possess at least 3 professional references
• You should pass the initial coding test.
• Experience developing highly interactive applications
• A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Must be available during US hours from 8 AM - 5 PM CST
