Attri AI integration platform helps businesses accelerate time to market for AI projects. Right now, the majority of ML projects (up to 80%) fail to go from development to production. Building a model in a Jupyter notebook is a small part of the journey; it requires a lot of pipeline setup and workflow orchestration to successfully deploy a model that can reliably serve millions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of technical solutions and implement architectures for project and products across data engineering and data science teams, while ensuring that the tech team meets the company’s short and long term needs.
• Outline the goals for research and development while managing technology budgets and time frames and guide integrations across teams within business unit.
• Author high-quality, highly-performance, unit-tested code to extract and transform data based on business and data science needs
• Identify patterns for reuse in future solutions across multiple types of assets, from solution approaches, ML models, data transformation code
• Be accountable for end-to-end delivery of solutions from requirements gathering to production
• You serve as an expert for a given domain, make well-defined technology choices and mentor other engineers while maintaining a consumer-focused outlook.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in relating to colleagues and associates both inside and outside the organization.
• Driving and planning sprints and ensuring a high tech team velocity.

We will want you to have
Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering role with some exposure in leading remote development teams in the past.
• At least 4 years of experience with fluency and experience in either Go or Python
• Proven track-record building large-scale, high-throughput, low-latency production systems with at least 3+ years working with customers, architecting solutions, and delivering end-to-end products.
• 3+ years experience in AWS or Azure or Google Cloud APIs
• Experience in virtual build environments (Container, VMs and Microservices) and Container orchestration - Docker Swarm, Kubernetes/Red Hat Openshift.
• Experience with relational databases, non-relational databases, cloud environments and cloud deployment technology (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience in the design for the feature stores, model registry with the latest tools in MLOps, such as KubeFlow, AWS Sagemaker, MLFlow, etc.
• Built and maintained more than one machine learning engineering pipeline end-to-end in production environments (includes feature engineering, model training, model scoring, model validation, etc.)
• Ability to specify and write code that is accessible, secure, and performs in an optimized manner with an ability to output to different types of consumers and systems

Knowledge

• Agile development methodologies and concepts including hands on with Jira, bitbucket and confluence.
• Proactive and efficient time-management with an ability to delegate efficiently and delay seamlessly
• Experience as a technical expert working between those with and without AI experience
• Working knowledge of scalable computing Spark, Kubernetes, etc would be a valuable supplement
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth, Single Sign On, Azure AD is a plus
• Some prior experience developing for and debugging Big Data and stream processing frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, and Flink
