Who you are:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities. You will work on several projects, ensuring that the applications we ship are of the highest quality. You will be working very closely with the developers and the project managers on any issues that might arise. This position requires an organized and effective individual who feels a real sense of ownership of each project.

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and test reusable automation
  • Expand testing skillset to include more tools, technologies, and object-oriented languages and OO principles
  • Build upon knowledge of Appium, Selenium, and other test tools
  • Write specific software tests verifying data correctness, server/device interface, and server response
  • Execute test and determine root-cause of issues found for functional, negative, regression, and ad-hoc testing
  • Collaborate with functional QAs and developers to identify best scenarios for automation
  • Work with Agile development teams to improve test processes, test coverage, and continuously improve the services under test
  • Leverage test case management and defect tracking solutions

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 - 5 years’ Quality Assurance experience in automation testing and/or development
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience using test case management and defect tracking solutions
  • 2 - 5 years’ testing client-facing software
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience with test automation tools. e.g., Appium, Selenium, UFT, Ranorex, Katalon, mabl, etc.
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience troubleshooting technical issues with internal and external stakeholders

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Git, Gradle, Maven, and Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with testing web APIs using tools such as Postman, Paw, and SoapUI
  • Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
