The Role

QSmash is game changing retail technology we are aiming to bring online experience in the brick and mortar retail and change the retail shopping experience forever.

We are now seeking our first Business Development Senior Team Member to join the team and help bring on new clients in retail. You will be working with cutting-edge AI and machine-learning technology in an up and coming start-up environment. You will provide leadership and strategic direction to the business’s overall sales program.

Reporting directly to CEO you will be part of the management/founding team and get actively involved in the strategic decisions. The role will potentially grow as Chief Sales Officer role with responsibility of global sales.

We are looking for someone who have:

• Proven track record of developing new business and closing deals; meeting and exceeding targets.

• Some knowledge of selling tech solutions into the retail marketplace (with an address book of contacts to utilize).

• “Hunter” mentality – driven to bring on new business development leads!

• Self-starter – this is a start-up environment and will need someone who can be hands-on and hit-the-ground-running.

Our ideal candidate is someone with:

Essential: Bilingual, Fluent in English plus fluency in a Arabic language is advantageous

• Experience in a sales/business development role with a track record of significant over-performance

** • Essential: Merchant Acquiring or payment solution sales, Retail Software or other relevant sales experience**

• Understanding of, and interest in retail sector

• Lots of energy, positive attitude and an outgoing approach

• Ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms

• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast paced environment

• Passionate about new tech and entrepreneurship

The ideal candidate will bring passion for and interest in payments, client-facing skills and presence, and knowledge of merchant strategies and priorities and will enjoy creative problem solving, working collaboratively across functions, and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

What We Are Offering:

· Option shares

· Sales Commission only at this stage. (DOE)
