About Mumli
Mumli is an exciting new social mobile app, built specifically for mums. Our ambition is to become the sharing app for mums everywhere, creating a global community of mums supporting each other through every stage of motherhood. We are making it easy and engaging for mums to collect, organise, save & share useful information and memories throughout their journey. We have raised funding from some of Australia’s most successful software investors to support our growth and product goals and are excited to be growing the team.

We are currently in a closed beta with a target live date of Q4 2021.

Job Overview
Based in Sydney, this is a full-time role working as Mumli’s lead Product Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to come in at an early stage of of Mumli’s journey and play a pivotal role in the direction of the product and company. As the head of Product Design, you will play an instrumental role in developing and driving the product strategy and roadmap. You will be working closely with the founder, product, growth and design teams to execute on our mission.

This is a full-time role working across Mumli’s product team. The role is based in Sydney (with the option to work remotely) and operates directly with the growth & engineering team and founder.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Defining the user experience for new products and features
• Working with multiple teams to collaboratively develop and deliver high quality designs
• Combining UX thinking with design execution, to produce research-informed and intuitive user interfaces
• Generating insight from qualitative and quantitative research, with a knack for customer empathy and data-informed decision making
• Communicating design solutions to product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Developing UX mock-ups using industry standard tools, like Sketch, InVision, etc
• Collaborating with other designers and contribute to the growth of the design of Mumli

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UX Design
• Proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end UX/UI design
• Excellent project and time management skills, working effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication and facilitation skills
• Great team player, positively contributing to the product team and culture
• Experience with customer-facing, self-service, web-based platforms is advantageous
