Lead Software engineer

Hexagro is a Vertical Farming startup decentralizing the way we produce and access healthy food. By leveraging IoT technologies and modular hardware design we aim to disrupt food supply chain and impact millions of people who are craving fresh and sustainable food.

Our team is looking for a motivated candidate for the role of Software Engineer and develop the next generation of our IoT Software Platform.
We have the option of full-time and part-time with remote working at the moment and the possibility to receive equity as part of the deal.

We are giving priority to candidates with existing skills in:

• Professional work in AWS IoT (AWS Console, boto3 library, Python AWS SDK Library), Dynamo DB, IAM Keys
• Professional work in Linux Based Systems (work with Raspbian OS, Shell scripts, Python scripts, multithreaded programming)
• Knowledge of fundamentals of Software Engineering and Software Design (Design software based on specifications and requirements)
• Knowledge in Django REST Framework for developing Web Applications. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining already existing automation script written in Python that connects to AWS
