The Role

If you are looking to move the meter and make a difference working with a fintech startup, we want you to join us in changing the financial data industry. We are seeking a world-class Sales Development Representative who is passionate about the TagniFi platform and the role that financial data can play in improving the productivity of finance and investment professionals. We need a tenacious and professional Sales Development Representative to fuel our growth and spread the word on the front lines of our business. As a founding member of this function, you have the opportunity to shape our company and ultimately help us build it. Your impact will be in creating pipeline by leveraging your curiosity, creativity, and business acumen - measured by the quantity and quality of new opportunities you uncover. You'll thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that requires getting your hands dirty while also applying your strategic insight as we grow TagniFi into a leading provider of financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new discovery calls and demos from targeted industry lists and databases
  • Qualify our pricing request and demo request leads to schedule demos
  • Effectively and efficiently conduct account research using tools, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and our CRM
  • Develop your own sales skills through our development program
  • Work closely with the CEO to follow up on sales and marketing initiatives
  • Become a power user and a product guide of the TagniFi platform

Requirements

  • 1-3 year experience with SaaS sales in a business development role, inside sales, or account management role.
  • Experience mapping out what needs to be done to get the outcome - self-directed and always delivering.
  • Communication experience and experience building relationships through a phone presence.
  • Experience in quantifying phone-based business measured by generated leads, nurtured leads, and appointments set.
  • Experience in picking up and explaining product ideas and processes to business decision-makers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and workload.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent commercial experience.
