THE JOB
GoSpace is currently looking for an energetic and creative field business development Intern (recent grads welcome!) to drive our local brand awareness and customer acquisition through direct marketing campaigns and events and in person meeting with neighborhood co-working space partners.
Our mission is to unlock the existing underutilized space in cities, in a way that empowers urban dwellers to achieve their aspirations.
To start, we are partnering with co-working spaces that are currently not fully occupied to turn them into a network of beautiful spaces for people to meet, work and recharge.
We are in process of planning to expand to other verticals.
What is an Associate?
He is a super "doer" who works with startups in their daily execution.
JOB DESCRIPTION
What it implies:
• You will have to put your hands in grease (that's how you learn the most!)
• You have to be super autonomous and flexible
• You are ready to challenge current status quo in their way of doing things
& you are not afraid to bring your point of view. Do not worry we'll help you
• To achieve the sales/ revenue target from existing and new clients
• Follow-ups regularly and ensure maintaining good relationships with clients
• Research and strategize expansion plans in new neighborhoods Spacious
is opening locations in to understand the hyper-local dynamics of the area.
• Execute field marketing campaigns to grow under-activated Spacious locations such as street marketing, relevant events, and direct mail.
• Attend and promote our brand at Tech events & conferences
• Manage and track budgets for all field marketing campaigns.
• Report weekly on acquisition metrics and status of field marketing activities.
Your Requirements
What you'll bring
• Experience working within the coworking sector
• You have a degree in Business (Business School, University) and you have a first successful experience in Business Development, Sales, Consulting
• 2+ years Sales or Account Management experience
• Degree in a Business or commerce-related discipline
• Excellent Communication, both Written & Verbal
• Strong understanding of the technology sector
• You are curious, and want to know the new tech trends, startups,
entrepreneurship and venture capital
• You want to develop your entrepreneurial spirit
• You want to have a first startup experience
• You speak fluently English (oral / written)
• Confident, Pleasing and go-getter personality
• Effective communication skills
• Experience closing sales
• Must be fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi and any other language will be +
