The Role

As our VP of Sales, you will:
Take the helm of our rapidly growing sales team and own revenue for the Company. You will report directly to the COO and work closely with all members of the management team.

What you will work on:

Revenue Growth

  • Join the Blueprint Title leadership team and oversee all things revenue
  • Lead and inspire the sales organization to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue growth targets by establishing aggressive but realistic sales goals
  • Directly participate in closing deals with target accounts
  • Work with CEO and COO to set pricing, manage key metrics, and determine acceptable growth curves

Team Development

  • Attract, select, onboard, develop, promote, and manage a team of sales directors, managers, account executives, and business development representatives; hold the team accountable to hitting and exceeding targets efficiently
  • Build and refine internal sales processes to scale the team from 5 to 20+ over the next 18 months
  • Co-develop and manage annual commission/bonus plans

Strategy and Analytics

  • Work cross-functionally with the Technology, Legal Product, Talent, Operations, and Finance teams to develop a strategic approach to market selection, product mix, and target clients/geographies
  • Track progress-to-goal and report to both the leadership team and investors
  • Liaise with Finance and other departments to refine revenue projections

What we are looking for in you:

Revenue Track Record

  • History of Success and consistent over-achievement of revenue goals as a Sales Rep, Sales Manager, and Sales Director/VP of one or more high-growth businesses

Sales Leadership Experience

  • 8+ years of managing high performing sales representatives and managers, preferably within a venture-backed startup environment
  • A strong network of high-performing current/former team members who speak favorably of your management style and results
  • Demonstrated success implementing sales training programs
  • Ability to coach people of varying levels of expertise
  • Experience optimizing Hubspot (or other CRM), building revenue forecasts, and tracking revenue performance

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, adapt, and move quickly
  • Demonstrated high EQ
  • Dedication to results
