Job Description Digital Media Planner
We are looking for a Digital Media Planner to shape and execute effective advertising campaigns. Your job will be to understand client’s requirements, identify and reach target audiences, as well as evaluate campaign success.
To succeed in this role, you should be a skilled communicator and decision-maker who can collaborate well with various teams. Knowledge of market research and a willingness to follow media trends are essential.
Your goal will be to optimize media marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and help achieve business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
• Analysing data, thinking creatively and designing innovative strategies to make sure client marketing campaigns reach their target audience in the most effective way possible
• Assessing the impact and suitability of different media types used to target certain markets based on their clients' needs and wants.
• Developing various options for media plans based on the client's objectives
• Analysing the client's post-campaign results and recommending refinements
• Collecting and analysing information on different media channels, such as newspapers, radio, magazines, television, films, the Internet, and outdoor posters and digital billboards
• Creating or recommending certain media strategies to attract and retain customers, increase the client's brand recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Working closely with clients to understand their needs, wants, and objectives, and then determining which media channels fit best for specific campaigns
• Research and analyse the requirements of the clients and do a business research before planning campaigns for the clients.
• Handling various social media handles of the company as well as its clients.
• Identify target audiences and understand their behaviour and habits
• Determine the best media outlet mix for our campaigns
• Optimize ad campaigns according to geographic exposure, frequency, time spans and more
• Allocate budgets and monitor costs
• Evaluate the success of media strategies and campaigns
• Run campaigns in all online mediums (both paid and organic) and make sure we attain the desired results on the same.
• Leads generations through the campaigns ran by the company.
Requirements :-
• Proven experience as a Media Planner; experience in digital media is preferred
• Broad knowledge of media channels
• Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
• Creative and out of the box thinker.
• Trendsetter.
• Ability to generate profitable return on investments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An analytical mind with an aptitude for statistics and math
• Strong decision-making skills
• BSc/BA in Marketing, Business Administration or similar field
