The Role

Senior Front-End Web Developer

At Namefi, we're pioneers in tokenizing domain name ownership and elevating the interaction between DNS record management and blockchain technology. As we expand our team, we are looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer who is not only proficient in modern development tools but also embodies our ethos of continuous learning and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Leverage Figma for UI/UX design implementations tailored to enhance user interaction.
  • Utilize various component libraries and UI frameworks effectively.
  • Implement and manage front-end hosting environments with AWS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural improvements.

Language and Communication

  • Professional proficiency in English: Must be able to effectively communicate in both written and oral English.
  • Additional Languages: Speaking a language no one in the team could already speak is a strong plus, enhancing our team's diversity and multilingual capabilities. ## Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 6000+ work hours (typically 3 years full-time) in a professional front-end development environment.
  • Skills:
    • High proficiency in React, npm, TypeScript, Next.js, and Git.
    • Expertise in CSS and SASS for sophisticated design implementations.
    • Strong ability in front-end performance profiling and using bundlers.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to generate multiple solutions for complex problems, understand immediate and extended implications, and make informed design choices.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading small teams, mentoring junior staff, or teaching technical courses, either internally or externally.
  • Cultural Fit: Strong sense of ownership and self-driving in a remote work environment, commitment to continuous learning, open mindset, DRY and composibility

Desirable

  • Multilingual capabilities are a strong plus, especially if you speak a language no one else in the team does.
  • Visible past work through open-source contributions, hackathons, public contests, or academic publications.
