The Role

At PhrasIQ, we're pioneering the advancement of Generative AI across various industries, reshaping the landscape of state-of-the-art technologies. As the GenAI Workforce Operations Manager, you'll lead the hiring and management of a high-quality, on-site and remote contingent workforce. Your role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of data labeling team, supporting critical projects, and leveraging internal tools to ensure the production of high-quality labeled data.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the hiring and management of a large-scale contractor workforce focused on GenAI data deliverables, coaching and developing leaders to achieve impactful outcomes.
  • Own end-to-end outcomes, from ideation and strategy to delivery of results, collaborating with Delivery Ops leads to ensure high-quality and timely SLA delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to roll out and test new features and product experiences within our tooling.
  • Establish and maintain quality performance metrics and KPIs to measure and report on quality levels.
  • Build and iterate on new processes and tools, driving their implementation across the organization and globally.
  • Analyze and experiment using quantitative experimentation to derive result-oriented actions for labeler acquisition, retention, experience, and performance.
  • Problem-solve strategic operations challenges and communicate detailed reporting for other leaders across the company.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a general manager, operations, and/or top-tier consulting role requiring a blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work.
  • Strong orientation towards outcomes, with a history of being resourceful and solving difficult problems in high-stakes environments.
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple, complex workstreams, including experience with data labeling platforms and tools.
  • Strong project management abilities, including prioritization, resource management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to dig deep into data, think from first principles, and iterate quickly to deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Nice to have: Experience with SQL, growing and owning a large-scale contractor team, and professional certifications in quality management.
