About the team

Roku streaming players and Roku TV™ models are available around the world through direct retail sales and licensing arrangements with TV brands and pay-TV operators.

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a senior level NPI Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Program Management.This position will work closely with a cross-functional team of software engineers, hardware design engineers, quality assurance engineers, product managers, manufacturing partners, and others to get products developed, tested, and released on schedule. You will be responsible for managing overall program schedules, communications with manufacturing partners, and providing project status to a wide audience within Roku including Senior leadership.

We’re Excited if You Have

  • 8+ years of program management experience
  • Engineering background with an excellent understanding of hardware and software
  • Extensive experience in consumer products or other high-volume products
  • Significant experience working with JDMs/ODMs/OEMs/CMs
  • Proficient in Propel, Agile PLM, or similar software
  • Experienced with development tools such as Jira
  • Solid understanding of product development lifecycles
  • Hands-on experience at overseas manufacturing facilities
  • Proven ability to work independently through ambiguity as needed
  • Proficient at creating and tracking complex development schedules
  • Capacity to own and execute multiple programs simultaneously
  • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline required
  • Ability to excel working in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Have an ability to communicate with candor and effectiveness
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally 5 - 10% a quarter
