Project Estimator

This position is located in Forney, TX (soon to be Poetry, TX). Applicants must be in commutable distance to headquarters.

With a thorough understanding of biological design and filtration efficiencies, we provide long-term sustainability of the assets invested by a client. We are looking to expand our Preconstruction Team with a Project Estimator that is a self starter, comfortable working independently, and interested in learning our industry!

Job Description

• Perform Estimating and pre-construction budget & bid processes on new projects.
• Accurately calculate and identify equipment, materials, and labor to be used on potential projects.
• Read and understand detailed construction documents including plans, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Complete take-offs to gather information for bids.
• Identify appropriate quality standard to meet specification.
• Interact with vendor resources to provide up to date and accurate information for project calculators.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with team members and supervisors both in written and verbal form.
• Maintain unit pricing and other company database for material and labor costing
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Position requires bachelor’s degree in Construction Estimating or related field

Required Skills: Impeccable time management, excellent verbal and written communication, computing skills, budget management, analytical skills, ability to read and interpret blue prints

Preferred Skills: Software competency in Revit, NavisWorks, CAD, BlueBeam, or various project management software services.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
