**About the Role & What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for an experienced Applied AI Engineer to join our dynamic AI Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, with a specialization in transformers and large language models. This role demands a blend of expertise in research and practical application, as you will be responsible for developing and deploying AI/ML models that drive innovation in healthcare data processing.

**Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models, with a focus on generative AI, to automate the extraction, classification, and auditing of medical billing data
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation, scalability, and cost optimization
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliability
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in the realm of generative AI technologies, and assess their applicability to our objectives.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our AI framework, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
• Evaluate new technologies for potential utilization across our systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that add value

**Requirements for the Role

• Proven experience deploying AI or ML models in a production environment, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to stay up to date with the latest AI research and methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
