Who You Are:

  • For this coveted international role we are seeking an individual who will be responsible for growing existing and increasing new business revenue, enhancing share of wallet and client penetration by identifying key influencers and decision makers with their target companies. This opportunity requires outstanding, TV broadcast specialized industry knowledge and expertise in identifying potential revenue opportunities through networking and bold field sales techniques. Coupled with a total understanding of the end-to-end television production process. You will play a pivotal role in client negotiations, pricing agreements and relationship development. Client interaction is at the highest decision-making level to position Getty Images as the ultimate value provider of content across all products and services. It is critical that you can demonstrate validated long term relationship development experience and maintenance.

Your Next Challenge:

  • You will develop new business revenue streams as it relates to all our products and services.
  • Acquire a detailed understanding of customer needs and requirements by bringing to bear industry experience and a wealth of contacts across the International television and digital marketplace.
  • Focus on opportunities with significant long-term potential, developing the broadest base of cross sector stills & video buyers in all Getty Images’ European sales territories.
  • Demonstrate consistent daily habits of progressing leads through sales stages including implementing detailed next steps for each opportunity.
  • Develop sales approaches and solutions which lead to increased penetration and share of market.
  • Identifies and communicates the value proposition for key strategic accounts and manages the customer efficiently through the sales cycle.
  • Works in collaboration with sales partners and colleagues in other segments/departments to define and implement account strategies and analysis where appropriate.
  • Author detailed selling plans outlining specific targets, contact strategy, KPIs for success and points of adjustment.
  • Demonstrate a strategic approach to developing the target segment or customer, looking beyond short-term targets to build a full year and quarter pipeline of sufficient size to exceed budget.
  • Meet required monthly KPIs and use CRM diligently to track account opportunities and pipeline.
  • Consistently deliver required business reports accurately and on time.
  • Travels to onsite customer meetings, industry events and client networking opportunities.
  • Partnering with Regional Marketing to help co-ordinate customer outreach and presence at industry events.

What You’ll Need:

  • We need someone who can sell in a detailed, methodological way using a process driven approach.
  • Pro-active industry focused with strong ability to source and close new opportunities utilising strong existing customer relationships across the Broadcast market.
  • Experience selling, upselling, and developing underpenetrated accounts to grow committed revenue.
  • Highly skilled networker with C-suite level negotiation experience – nurtures relationships and expertly negotiates enterprise level solutions with an ability to hold value and close deals.
  • Outstanding written and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated pipeline management closing and forecasting skills.
  • Strong networking, communication, negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills.
  • Fluent in all Microsoft Office tools, with a solid and numerate grasp of Excel.
  • Experienced in CRM (preferably Salesforce) as a platform for all customer transactional and data capture.
  • Well-developed time management and organization skills.
  • Commercially aware and data numerate.
  • Appreciation for all technical TV industry acronyms, formats and parlance.
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships via telephone, email and in-person.

Required Qualifications:

  • We would like approximately 10 years of sales representative experience - Television Broadcast environment is preferred.
  • 5+ years outside sales or business development experience.
  • Can quickly acquire or has developed an industry understanding.
  • Extensive related professional experience working for an international business.
