About Wondr:

Wondr is developing a next generation application transforming the way individuals connect, share, and engage. Alongside our product, Wondr operates a venture studio, where we develop branding, growth, marketing, and product strategies and programs for startups in emerging technologies including AI and Web3.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Contract-to-Fulltime Visual Designer to join our team, contributing to the visual and creative direction of Wondr and supporting the design needs of our venture studio's diverse clients. The Visual Designer will be an integral part of the Wondr team, responsible for crafting visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audiences and enhance user experience across all platforms. This role encompasses a wide range of design tasks, from branding and marketing collateral to UI/UX elements for digital platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with our marketing, product, and development teams, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual identity for Wondr and Wondr Venture Studio clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Brand and Visual Identity: Develop and refine the visual identity for Wondr and Wondr Venture Studio clients, ensuring consistency across all digital and physical touchpoints.
• Design Execution: Create high-quality graphics, templates, and materials for marketing campaigns, social media, website content, and product interfaces.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with the product development team to design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Wondr and Wondr Venture Studio clients.
• Client Collaboration: Work directly with venture studio clients to understand their design needs, providing expert guidance and delivering designs that meet their objectives.
• Creative Direction: Offer creative direction on visual storytelling across multiple channels, enhancing brand engagement and user experience.
• Feedback and Iteration: Actively seek out and respond to feedback from team members and users, employing a test, learn, and iterate approach to design.
• Trend Analysis: Stay on top of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, integrating innovative design solutions that keep Wondr and Wondr Venture Studio clients at the forefront of digital design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional design experience, preferably with exposure to tech startups or digital product companies.
• A strong portfolio showcasing skills in graphic design, branding, and UI/UX design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Exceptional creativity and innovation with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Experience in motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
