Remote Optix (www.remoteoptix.com) is a tech-enabled reality capture solutions provider for various industries, including construction, civil engineering, industrial inspection and commercial real estate. Our services include flying advanced sUAS (drones) and utilizing terrestrial data capture tools to conduct reality capture tasks of all types and sizes. On the software side, our proprietary web platform aggregates all types of reality capture data in one easily accessible portal for our clients.

This is a contract remote role for a Regional Sales Representative focusing on the Los Angeles Metropolitan and San Francisco Bay Area in California. The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads and closing sales for Remote Optix's software and professional services. The day-to-day tasks include prospecting, presenting Remote Optix's solutions to potential clients, understanding client needs, creating proposals, and following up on sales leads.
This role starts will a low monthly base ($1,000 per month) and includes commissions up to 28% of net contract values, with bonus structures for performance beyond pre-determined sales goals. Contracts can range from one-off $400 drone image captures to $100K+ multi-year, recurring reality capture engagements.
Qualifications
- Past inside or outside sales and/or business development skills
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven and motivated to succeed in a remote sales environment
- Ability to adapt to changing sales scenarios and prioritize sales efforts
Preferences
- Experience selling or working in construction, architecture, industrial inspection, mining or commercial real estate industries
- Experience in selling software and professional services solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- A general interest in drones and/or other reality capture services and/or tools
