We are hiring a Technology Lead to drive the integration of technology into our existing projects and spearhead new initiatives to explore innovative applications for
technology, suicide prevention and mental health.
The Technology Lead will oversee a dynamic team of professionals, collaborating closely with project leads and teams to create technological solutions that address critical challenges in the mental health and suicide prevention domains.
Responsibilities
- Technology Integration
- Assess and identify opportunities for integrating technology into existing project frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions that enhance the effectiveness of our mental health interventions and programs
Leadership
Hire, lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technology team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Drive the development and execution of the technology strategy aligned with the organisation's overall goals
Grant Acquisition and Project Management
Develop and implement a strategy to secure grants and funding for technology-driven mental health and suicide prevention projects
Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with external partners, donors, and stakeholders to build strategic alliances and secure support for technology-driven mental health initiatives
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements in the
development and deployment of technology solutions
Essential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR proven experience (9+ years) in leading or working in technology teams
- Motivation to work in the area of mental health and suicide prevention
Desirable
- PhD or M.Tech. (in any related area)
- Familiarity with frontier technologies (e.g.,wearable devices), Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
- Familiarity with mental health concepts and research
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record of securing grants and managing technology projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate the intersection of technology, mental health, and research
