What we're looking for

Dynamic Tech Lead who combines exceptional intelligence with a passion for hands-on coding and a proven track record in building tech infrastructure. The ideal candidate is intensely curious about product building, delves deep into the mechanics behind successful innovations, and excels in problem-solving beyond conventional user feedback. They should be an independent self-starter.

Technologies: NodeJS, React, Azure, MongoDB, AI/ML, Flutter

Responsibilities

• Lead the tech & product to revolutionize the Indian Higher Education system.
• Steer the vision & mission of the company's products.
• Lead the entire technology of the company
• Setup the foundations of good practices in product management
• Be single-handedly responsible by working with founders to build a product feature roadmap and get it implemented through the engineering team.

1. Strategic Vision: Articulate and execute a clear technological vision and strategy, aligned with the company’s business objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and nurture a diverse team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
3. Platform Development: Oversee the creation and rollout of new features, prioritizing a smooth and engaging user experience.
4. Innovation and Trends: Stay informed on cutting-edge technologies and trends, integrating novel solutions to maintain our platform’s competitive edge.
5. Scalability Focus: Ensure the platform’s architecture is robust enough to accommodate rapid growth without compromising on performance.
6. Security Commitment: Uphold stringent security practices to safeguard user data and privacy.
7. Collaborative Efforts: Engage closely with C-level executives, product managers, and external stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
8. Budget Management: Administer the technology budget effectively, optimizing resource utilization for maximum impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years experience in Technology & startups
• Expertise in technologies such as AI/ML, ReactJs, Node, Cloud services, Flutter, etc.
• Helped build & scale a startup from 0 to 1
• Proven track record of successfully leading product development initiatives, ideally in consumer apps or related industries.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Excellent understanding of user experience, design principles, and best practices.
• Experience in driving product innovation and launching new features or products.
• Outstanding communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for making a positive impact on the Indian education system, specifically for Tier 2 and 3 students.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
