Having completed our Series A capital raise led by Westpac’s Reinventure Fund, Carthona Capital and Flying Fox Ventures, we’re building a digital ecosystem that makes end of life planning more affordable, more personalised, and more relevant for modern Australians.

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive and impactful digital experiences. You will be at the heart of our mission. Your designs will not only attract but also retain our users, delivering an unparalleled customer experience. You will have the unique opportunity to design solutions that simplify one of life’s most significant processes, guiding individuals in preparing for the end-of-life and securing their legacies.

Your Impact 🙌

• Work closely with the Product Manager to define problems and understand their business impact.
• Utilise Amplitude and Looker to study existing user behaviours and form hypotheses.
• Lead ideation sessions with stakeholders to explore potential solutions.
• Create low fidelity designs to align the team and identify key assumptions.
• Develop high fidelity designs and prototypes using Figma.
• Focus on UI design, ensuring consistency and simplicity in solutions.
• Conduct research to fill knowledge gaps and validate assumptions.
• Design content with support from experts and content writers, balancing accuracy and simplicity.
• Ensure the product is accessible to all users.
• Assist engineers during the build process, adapting designs as needed.
• Balance scope, quality, and speed in design decisions.
• Work on the Design System for more efficient and reliable UI design and development.
• Test features during development and improve the overall customer experience.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO, CTO, and senior leaders.
• Present, defend, and iterate on design decisions.

Your Skills 💡

• Excellent visual design skills, with a strong understanding of color, form, and composition.
• Ability to conduct user research and apply insights to design decisions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically about design challenges.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and practices, including wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Understanding of product testing and evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and design sprints.
