Summary

SmartPath is seeking a knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Financial Content Creator and lead content creation for our audience on various financial topics. We teach thousands of people about money each month and have a growing audience of hundreds of thousands who receive our communications.

As SmartPath’s Financial Content Creator, you’ll collaborate with our content and production teams to create, improve, and deliver content our customers may receive or interact with.

Role + Responsibilities

General

• Serve as SmartPath’s Financial Content Creator.
• Ensure that SmartPath’s personal finance educational content is engaging, entertaining, and financially accurate. Content is not limited to our current mediums.
• Continuously research and implement best practices in educational financial content creation, storytelling, and audience engagement.

Specific

• Create informative and captivating educational content about financial topics for various audiences, using different formats, styles, and lengths.
• Generate content outlines and scripts, and delegate the review process as needed, utilizing the expertise of our in-house team across different topics.
• Explore and apply storytelling techniques for educational financial content to enhance the user learning experience.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, style, and brand guidelines while adapting content to suit different formats and target audiences.
• Facilitate and support remote content recording via Zoom, review recording material and coordinate with the post production team final looks of the content.
• Review our existing content inventory and categorize it according to our target audience to determine whether it needs to be repurposed or recreated.
• Use data insights on content performance to refine content creation based on audience feedback and analytics.
