The Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and meticulous individual to join our team as a Respiratory Pathogen Screener. As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing tests to detect and identify respiratory pathogens in different samples. Your contribution will be crucial in identifying and preventing the spread of respiratory diseases.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory tests on samples to identify respiratory pathogens, such as viruses and bacteria.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Handle and prepare samples in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Record and document test results accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and interpret test results.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in respiratory pathogens and testing methodologies.
• Assist in developing and validating new testing methods and protocols.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in conducting laboratory tests, preferably in respiratory pathogen testing.
• Familiarity with various laboratory instruments used in respiratory pathogen testing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
