We are looking to add a Broker to our rapidly growing Independent Agency! If you're looking to start your career in insurance, then there is simply no better opportunity! Get in on the ground floor and earn above industry average compensation (with unlimited potential!), AND the opportunity to earn equity and/or start your own agency. We equip our agents with focused training, continuing education opportunities and s one-on-one mentorship program designed to help them learn the ins and outs of the industry.

Becoming a successful agent takes commitment, hard work, time and effort. But, unlike many other small business opportunities, there are no franchise fees or long-term financial commitments.

You Don't even have to quit your day job! A potential agent can begin building an business without quitting their current job or sacrificing savings to get started. It’s a 4-month developmental period intended to give candidates the steps to becoming an agent and ease the transition into becoming full-time. The “try it on for size” approach gives our agents honest insight into the expectations and commitment necessary for success as an agent, so together we can decide if it’s a good fit.

Candidate must be located in Chicago but will be able to work remotely after training

Responsibilities

Establish and develop relationships with prospects via marketing, cold calling, referrals, Internet leads, etc.
Conducting needs analysis with each client, making sure to uncover any gaps in coverage
Selling insurance policies
Respond to service inquiries
Become familiar with products, services and systems
Meet monthly sales quotas by following our set processes
Contribute to individual goals and agency success through promoting new business, cross-selling and new initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Property and Casualty insurance license - or ability to obtain within 30 days
Entrepreneurial personality
Confident self-starter who works well independently
Ability to synthesize data to inform decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pass background check
Computer Proficiency
Sales experience a bonus
Real estate industry experience a bonus
Mortgage / Lending industry experience a bonus
Fluency in foreign language a bonus
