About Sponsor a Pet:
Sponsor a Pet is a rapidly expanding fundraising platform with a mission to empower Animal Non-Profits. We are on the hunt for a Sales / Account Manager Intern who is not only passionate about animal welfare but also has a flair for networking, deal-making, and brand representation.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate and sustain relationships with corporate sponsors and nonprofit organizations
Pinpoint and qualify new business ventures
Articulate the unique advantages of Sponsor a Pet to prospective sponsors and donors
Broker and finalize deals, exceeding predefined sales targets
Engage with nonprofits across an array of channels, including social media
Utilize campus networks and student life affiliations to promote Sponsor a Pet
Act as a brand champion by capturing and sharing content at events
Qualifications:
Passion for animal welfare
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to meet or outperform sales targets
Self-starter with the capability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Proficient in Social Media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), Microsoft Outlook, Canva, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ChatGPT
Actively involved in campus life or student organizations
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketing platforms (SendGrid, Mail Chimp, Apollio.io etc), Later, Social Media Content Management, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Compensation Package:
This is a paid internship position. Compensation is entirely commission-based, with the potential for earning residuals. Payments are tied to the successful closing of deals and the attainment of key performance indicators (KPIs).
