Finance Manager

General Summary of the Role:

• Provide Risk Management support, advice, oversight, and feedback to the business on risk management process/governance

• Monitoring internal controls of the functions and periodic auditing of such controls

• Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lower costs and operational efficiencies

• Execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations

• Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities

• Preparation of Financial Statements and Accounts Payable Simple bookkeeping to complex financial analysis

• Develop new metrics for driving business performance relative to strategic priorities and minimizing risk

• Identify and build relationship with potential investors.

• Investigate ways to improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers, and acquisitions

• Coordinate strategic financial planning for the company and its clients, including expenses, income, insurance coverage, objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance

• Involvement in a diverse range of activities, including tax planning, capital budgeting, budget forecasting, financing, and creating books of accounts.

• Provide insights about spending trends, cost-savings initiatives, and margin opportunities

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with minimum 4 years of experience preferably in a startup or VC with relevant experience.

• Sound technical knowledge of core finance, accounting, taxation and Auditing

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Independent decision-making ability and adapt to changing environment
