Senior Finance Manager

Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the strategic and financial planning; Assist in preparing yearly business plan with a quarterly tracking.
• Devise financial systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls necessary to always monitor business discipline.
• Prepare business case for capital investment and present to committee for review and sign-off; Oversee investments, fund disbursements, utilization and outcome measurement.
• Revenue governance (including client interactions for deal closures and contracting; forecasting, revenue recognition)
• Margin Governance (including cost take out initiatives, systemic and sustainable cost reduction analysis)
• Working capital governance (including unbilled reduction, timely invoicing and collection, improving debt ageing and PDD)
• MIS for the business unit including sales performance tracking, incentives, and other analytics
• Work closely with other finance function like AR, AP, Invoicing, Credit and Taxation functions Consolidation and reporting of budget for all the regions.
• Analyse spending trends, AR and inventory movement to provide recommendation for cost optimization to improve margins.
• Ensure compliance under Direct and Indirect tax, Companies Act and secretarial matters.
• Conduct operating reviews, provide relevant analysis and recommendations to meet the business objectives set.
• Validate the engagements / purchase requisitions of the entity for both expenses and CAPEX
• Identify financial and non-financial risks
• Keeping the organization free of any encumbrances from legal, judiciary or financial institutions. Responsible for appropriate debt servicing, compliances related to Company's Act, Taxation, and such other legal entities
• Analysing the trends and raising the red flags from time to time in case of deviations & Plant Performance analysis through various Key Performance Indicators
• Ensure proper cost controlling and review mechanism (Control external costs & commitments with interfaces with Sourcing, Manufacturing & Engineering teams)
• Set up adequate processes & KPI’s to measure the activity and the services delivered on a periodic basis – Structure monthly function reviews & drive cost out actions
• Propose efficient and innovative ways to measure each cost function & its evolution during the build-up & running phases and drive cost reduction efforts
• Participate in other special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• MBA Finance / CA / CMA /ICWA with 10+ Years of Experience
• Experience in Financial Controlling and Planning & Analysis
• Excellent organisational skills; problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of data privacy standards and Commercial finance is an added advantage
• Exceptional communication.
