About the company:
The Millet Company sells super-grains, rediscovers traditional farming techniques and brings a variety of naturally organic millets to your plate. It's a startup expanding into Millet products and its businesses, run by a small team working with different vendors, agents and clients and now looking to expand the team.
About the role:
To move the operations further as a growing company, this is a position to manage the Inventory and Accounts operations in an optimised manner. To brief you about the operations and the strength of the company, this is a start up run with the help of a small team & is in the set-up stage. Hence, there is a huge opportunity for you to take up responsibilities for the brand to be developed.
We are looking for teammates who are open to work across a broad portfolio of work.
If you join the team, you'll get a platform to work with and take responsibility for:
Accounting: Manage Inward, Outward and Stock registers, Sales orders, Purchase orders, Bills, Delivery Challans, Invoices, Payments and Vendor Credits, Returns and Credit Notes, Receivables
Inventory Management: Manage Zoho Inventory, E-commerce inventory, & warehouse management.
Accounts and Taxation Co-ordination: Coordinate with our external Accounts Associate and set all the operations in sync with regular filings.
Manage Orders: Manage daily orders on Amazon, Flipkart, Jio and other such platforms (Training will be provided)
*What should you necessarily bring along: We will not check any qualifications as such but we will prefer people with the following:
Know Accounting, Reconciliation, Inventory and GST Filing thoroughly
Knowledge of Tally (Zoho Inventory or Zoho Books is a plus).
Orderliness and efficiency, humility and positive energy (this will be the decision point).
Your resume/CV would give us a little idea. Willingness to commute to the office (to the city outskirts)
A cover letter which mentions what your would be contribution in the above mentioned role.
Hands on Google Spreadsheet and Microsoft Excel.
Note: The period will be 6 Months contract, with 1 month of probation & training until moving to full-time. We may have a small technical questionnaire, as we consider this teammate to be long term in the future.
