On-site (Bangalore): Part time Python developer (ML, Data Engineering, API integrations -- csv data)

About the role:

We're looking to bring on board ML engineer. The main responsibility of this person would be to own the entire python development. Of course you're not in it alone and you'll get support, but we're at a point where we want to bring in the experts and take full ownership. Our stack is NodeJS on the backend, React on the frontend and for all things data processing we use Python.

We're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats, here are some things you could be working on:

• Understand the business problem and the data coming in (csv data)
• Identify and implement derived data by understanding the business context (using numpy, pandas, etc)
• Identify and call web APIs to obtain additional data (using requests library)
• Data engineering -- implement functions to handle various data formats, i.e. data cleansing and plan for various data scenarios, i.e. handle missing data (using numpy, pandas, etc)
• ML engineering -- implement, test, maintain ml models (using sklearn, etc)
• DB interfacing -- save and retrieve data from database (using pymongo)

We're on a mission to reduce paper waste in countries like the US by helping small businesses target their customers better.
This role could convert to a full time role in the future. Looking for someone with at least 4+ years of python programming experience.
