Fourth Enterprises, LLC has an opening for a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely in the US.

The Role. . .

• Share ownership of a portfolio of applications (SnapLogic, Talend, Nifi, SSIS and assorted BI reporting tools like Looker, Jasper Reports and Tableau) with a highly collaborative development team.
• Build robust tools to integrate Fourth’s platform with third party APIs. Lead improvement opportunities for platform and integration processes and technologies.
• Develop, optimize and support data pipelines using a diverse collection of ETL tooling.
• Utilize programming languages like C#, Java, Python and Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud based data services such as Snowflake and MongoDB.
• Design, deploy and manage high-availability, secure and scalable cloud resources.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that arm our customers with the data they need to make critical business impacting decisions.
• Collaborate with and across cross functional Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement products and services.
• Be a key member of a close-knit, high achieving team that builds upon each other's strengths to unlock its full potential. 100% remote (may work home).

The Ideal Candidate. . .

• Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Must possess at least 6 years of progressive experience in the Data Engineering field.
• Must possess all the following:
• at least 3 years of experience in scripting (Python, Perl, JavaScript, Bash/Shell)
• at least 3 years of experience with public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• at least 3 years of experience in big data technologies (Cassandra, Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, AVRO, MongoDB, Zookeeper)
• at least 2 years of experience working with OLTP databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and
• at least 1 year of experience with Agile engineering practices.
