The Role

Medivis is recruiting a research software engineer to help build the future of surgical augmented reality. This is a venture-backed and award-winning company focused on solving core problems in surgical navigation using augmented reality and computer vision.

As research engineer your responsibilities include:

-To enable critical research and development in augmented reality based surgical navigation
-Rapid prototyping in mixed reality using critical concepts in computer vision, augmented reality, and machine learning
-Experience in robotic navigation is a plus

Ideal Skills
-Masters or Ph.D. in computer science
-Experience with C++, C#
-Experience with graphics programming, including shaders, compute shaders, OpenGL, and DirectX
-Ability to carry out critical experiments and validate results in surgical navigation
-Plus: Experience working in the medical field, especially in radiology with the DICOM standard
