E-commerce Operations

About the company:
The Millet Company sells super-grains, rediscovers traditional farming techniques and brings a variety of naturally organic millets to your plate. It's a startup expanding into Millet products and its businesses, run by a small team working with different vendors, agents and clients and now looking to expand the team.

About the role:
To move the operations further as a growing company, this is a position to manage the E-commerce operations in an optimised manner. The responsibilities will vary from Operations, Marketing and Advertising to Business Development and Growth. Hence, there is a huge opportunity for you to take up responsibilities for the brand to be developed.

If you get accepted, you'll get a platform to perform:

Order management: Manage orders over various E-commerce and online platforms.
Inventory management and pricing: Manage Pricing and Inventory on each and every ecommerce platform, internal inventory platform & warehouse management on a daily basis. Inventory planning will be a part of this task.
Product cataloguing: Manage product cataloguing, listing, and maintain the brands e-commerce profiles.
Communication: Communicate with respective seller supports, vendors & clients for coordination. Raise and manage cases across all platforms.
Packaging Management and Optimization: Manage packaging and order coordination.
Delivery and it’s management: Manage delivery operations and coordination along with clients or ecommerce platforms.
Data Management: Manage data, document and create reports
Expanding Ecommerce Platforms: Learn, create a presence and develop profiles over upcoming e-commerce platforms.

What should you necessarily bring along:
We will not check any qualifications as such and we are open to people from all fields who love design.

Curiosity, passion, energy and humility (this will be the decision point).
Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Jio Mart and more such platforms (You will be asked about this in the interview)
Your Resume/CV would give us a little idea.
A cover letter which mentions what your would be contribution in the above mentioned role and what do you think the company needs from the eyes of e-commerce and retail. (This can be integrated in the email itself)
Hands on Google Workstation tools [Drive, Spreadsheet, Presentation etc.], Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
You don’t need a degree.

Note: The period will be 6 Months contract, with 1 month of probation & training until moving to full-time. We may have a small questionnaire and a personality test, as we consider this teammate to be long term in the future.
