Uno de WaalThe Role
We're looking for a semi-permanent Product Owner who can flip between Scrum Master and Product Owner roles.
This role will manage and prioritise a backlog of work, while managing the daily stand-ups and ensuring a small dev team will keep on track with their tasks.
You'll also work with business stakeholders to get their feedback on tasks to complete - e.g. bug fixes, maintenance updates and other business as usual tasks.
You'll work with our Product Director to generate Jira stories that are then handed to the dev team.
You'll be the one responsible for running the sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives. You'll also provide feedback on the dev output and work with the PD to build out the development team.
You'll also play a role in the QA process and testing if work was completed. Part of this might also be teasing out specific features and bugs that require more detailed understanding.
From time to time there are also basic maintenance tasks required for the business, such as generating new users or assisting with content maintenance. You will work with the Product Director to create an ongoing knowledge library in Confluence.
Must haves:
Scrum/Agile knowledge and working methodology
Ability to run sprint planning and retrospectives.
Understand scrum scoring
Ability to create detailed enough user stories
Jira proficiency
Extra's and nice to haves
Ability to use no-code tools to build prototypes
Low level wireframing/mock-up creation to communicate ideas/prototypes
Basic understanding of SQL and API's.
We use Sitecore as our software platform. Proficiency in Sitecore is a major bonus.
We are a medium to large organisation that has multiple products and projects running at any one time.
You will work across 2-3 different products at once, some with more intensity than others. Each one has multiple stakeholders and different business owners. Working with the Product Director, you'll manage the workload and stakeholders to prioritise what work will be done in each sprint
