The House of DreamMaker is now offering an opportunity for senior financial analysts to start their career and join our Montréal based team. Responsibilities for Financial Analysts
Support the senior fundraising team and the CEO by providing forecasting and valuation, transaction execution, and investor relations support, including helping in:
- Developing financial forecasts and valuation models, exercising simulations and scenario analysis in addition to stress testing
- Integrating outcomes in investor presentations and developing investor decks for fundraising and negotiations.
- Developing spreadsheets related to annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting including P&L and cash management.
- Producing periodic financial performance reports, and budget vs. actual reviews for board meetings.
- Spearheading research studies related to industry trends, market analysis, competition landscape, pricing strategies, new regulations and all other information affecting business decisions.
- Communicating with investors and providing transaction support related to fundraising.
Qualifications for Financial Analyst
- Holders of a prominent business school diploma such as Masters in Management, MBA or CFA.
- 3 years experience as a financial analyst with some exposure to fundraising and investor relations.
- Self motivated with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Attention to details, diligence, accuracy and insightfulness.
- Based in Montréal and ready to work on a contractual basis for a 6-month period that can evolve into a full time position.
- Proficiency in English and French is a prerequisite - other language skills are surely appreciable.
Compensation
Depending on skills and experience that transpire from interviews.
