Machine Learning Engineer (Intern)

We are SyncSense - an early stage funded startup currently building a content localisation platform for creators to reach new audiences.

We are looking to hire a young and ambitious Machine Learning Engineer (Intern) to be part of our core engineering team. We are on track to raise our next round of funding in the next 2-3 months and assure a full time position with a lucrative compensation in terms of cash as well as ESOPs for the deserved candidate.

About the role

• Improve SyncSense’s Localization AI Engine
• Research on the latest state-of-the-art papers in Deep Learning
• Build scalable Deep Learning models in PyTorch/Tensorflow in production
• Work with large datasets of over a million files
• Collaborate with our data and engineering teams
• Deploy and integrate with existing machine learning pipeline
• Contribute to research publication and open source code

Requirements

• Experience with Machine Learning & either of NLP, Speech or CV
• Full-time availability (i.e. 35+ hours a week) for a minimum of 3 months.
• Experience developing and debugging in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
• Experience training Deep Neural Networks in PyTorch, Tensorflow or similar frameworks
• Experience writing and shipping scalable, high-performant and clean code
• Problem-solving attitude, self-starter and loves challenging problems
• Excellent (spoken and written) communication and strong organizational skills

Interview Process

• Screening round with basic questions
• Take home task (to be submitted within a week’s time)
• Review of take home task and advanced questions
• Culture-fit round with role discussion
• Offer rollout
