Responsible for the month end closing within the stipulated deadline.
Prepare a full set of accounts – AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliation, etc.
Prepare accounting-related reports, summaries and reconciliation.
Responsible for statutory accounts, audit and tax compliances as well as company secretarial matters.
Prepare Sales and Services Tax (“SST”) returns, be the liaison person for SST issues
Maintain digital and physical financial records.
Monthly payroll, claim, commission processing, including all statutory contribution for the local and regional team (Malaysia and Indonesia)
Run errands related to government agencies, banks, company secretaries, tax agents, auditors
Maximize government's incentives (ie. Penjana), grants, loan opportunities
Other assignments to be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
