The Automation QA Engineer is responsible for conducting quality checks on products and services using the latest QA techniques and practices. Excellent communication skills and computer abilities are essential.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- QA testing for apps and services
- Work in an agile development environment
- Participates and contributes to all phases in building new digital products, including programming, defect correction, unit testing, code review and deployment planning
- Provides expertise on current standards and cutting-edge QA techniques and practices
- Compiles and documents procedures used throughout program development and revision as required
- Share daily updates with the team via SCRUM (work completed, work pending, and/or impediments)
- Performs related work as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with consuming and understanding of web services
- Experience with Agile, or Agile-based, development methodologies
- 0-1 year of Automation QA experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of Cypress, Selenium, Jasmine, XUnitTests, or any other popular automation test frameworks
