Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance (QA):
- Conduct comprehensive QA testing, including both manual and automated methods, to ensure product quality.
- Perform detailed edge case testing to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with developers in code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards.
- Monitor and manage bug tracking systems, executing timely bug fixes and ensuring resolution.
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute test cases meticulously and document results thoroughly.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features.
- Conduct mobile testing across various devices and platforms.
- Utilize RESTful APIs to perform integration testing.
Bug Identification and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and prioritize software defects.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely bug resolution and provide feedback on software functionality.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to understand product features and requirements.
- Participate actively in team meetings to provide insights and QA perspectives.
Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Suggest improvements to streamline testing activities and increase efficiency.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summaries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/B.E (CSE/IT) or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a QA Analyst role or similar technical positions.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
