Marketing Manager

Position Description

We are seeking a dynamic marketing assistant to join our small and growing team. We are looking for someone who has very strong written skills, SEO knowledge/experience and an entrepreneurial mindset. Your main focus will be in assisting to organize new campaigns/experiments, developing strategies and implementing tasks associated with those campaigns. We encourage anyone who’s willing to work hard, has great ideas and loves a fun, remote work environment to apply.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be adaptable, metric-driven, experimental, a great writer and have good SEO knowledge.

Who is Duoplane?

Duoplane is a fast growing SaaS provider of eCommerce management solutions. We work with large and growing eCommerce merchants who use a distributed fulfillment model to ship orders from many different dropship vendors, 3PLs, warehouses, and storefronts. It’s an operational model that merchants are increasingly adopting to be more efficient and better focused on their core business.

But managing that kind of a fulfillment network is complex and painful. That’s where Duoplane comes in. We help merchants seamlessly integrate with their external fulfillment partners by routing order information, syncing inventory data, and much more. Day to Day Responsibilities

On any given day you might contribute in any of these areas:

• Content: ensuring we are producing regular content and distributing it across all channels
• SEO: Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's website search engine results rankings.
• Social media management
• Initial partnership outreach
• Creating a referral program for existing customers and vendors
• Email marketing: cold emails, lead follow up emails, newsletter, lost lead/lost trial emails (re-engagement)
• Live chat coverage and occasionally responding to sales interest
• List building
• Outreach to get featured on podcasts, blogs, content distribution
• Setting up regular webinars and lunch & learns
• Market research
• Marketing administration
• Updating spreadsheets

Working Requirements

• 2+ years experience in marketing
• 2+ years in writing original content
• 2+ years with SEO
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to create and present reports
• Ability to track and analyze data

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of ecommerce or fulfillment operations
• Background in B2B SaaS
• Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento
