About the role:
As a Sales Development Representative at Kevala, you will play a pivotal role in the process of engaging with future customers while helping to build our brand. You will drive outbound activity to identify new opportunities for the sales team to close. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, like meeting new people, conquering new challenges, and developing your sales skills, then Kevala is the place for you.
What You'll Do:
- Work alongside the sales team, sales leadership, and the CEO to build and continually improve messaging, sequences, and metrics
- Prospect new SaaS and/or marketplace opportunities through outbound calling activity
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries and convert them to qualified sales opportunities
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Research and target healthcare clinics, community hospitals, skilled nursing, and senior living organizations
- Leverage CRM to capture and report on all activity and market feedback
Who You Are:
- 1+ years of sales development experience (SaaS sales a huge plus)
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and self-management skills
