Role:
We are looking for a high-energy, driven, and self-motivated individual to join Sales & Business Development team as a Business Development Representative (BDR). In this role, you will report directly to the CEO of the company and get exposure with the rest of the senior management team. And you will be on a path to quickly advance into more senior Sales & Business Development roles. This role gives you the opportunity to join our international team at the ground level, to work in an exciting international environment, and to help shape the future of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready meetings and opportunities. This includes target market penetration, calling on senior-level executives, following up on marketing generated leads, creative campaign and door opener outreach, and more.
- Interact with prospects via telephone, video conference, and email
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives on identified opportunities and support the sales process as needed
- Effectively handle and overcome prospect objections with confidence
- Become a trusted resource and develop productive relationships with prospects
- Score leads and prospect interaction to efficiently prioritize leads and optimize time management
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline generating targets to support company’s revenue objectives
- Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization
Requirements:
- Self-starter with a track record of successful lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within target organizations
- Ability to work in a high-energy sales environment; roll-up-your-sleeves, collaborative teammate
- Strong capabilities in pre-call planning, call structuring and conversation control
- Superb communication skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing and presentation skills
- Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, CRM tools)
- Ideally experience working in a startup environment
- Experience in B2B tech/enterprise software sales a plus
- Sales training and sales process skills a plus; familiarity with Challenger Sales model a plus
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required
