Event Marketing Specialist - key role in helping Australian business growth

Your job is to ensure an enduring attraction that pulls in more of the right clients and investors every day, allowing us to help build some of Australia’s greatest future businesses!

In a nutshell your job is to ensure we fill our events every week. These span events for founders, business owners, entrepreneurs, investors and advisers. Our events are both online and face-to-face (as restrictions permit) and often involve external speakers and panelists.

About your responsibilities:

• Execute and manage event-focused campaigns nationally across primarily email marketing and social with a broad network of external partners to create substantial reach, backed up by general partnerships, media exposure and a heavy dose of in-depth content marketing.
• Reach out to our partners and engage them as each campaign rolls along. Engage with prospective attendees as well as people who book in, to truly understand where their hearts and minds are.
• Drive campaigns using new and existing campaign assets
• Assist with engagement across Catapult’s social media platforms and grow email database while building an ever-growing tribe
• Maintain landing page assets, create event briefs and engage with speakers and panelists

• Tracking engagement with market to ensure effectiveness of reach

• Happy to jump on a call to chase media or partners to uphold their commitments
• Come with a bounce in your step, bringing energy to the table every day, with a flexible attitude that means you can tackle the challenges that naturally occur
• A genuine interest in understanding the business and investor landscape
• Proficient in CRM tools, Eventbrite, Wordpress, Canva
