Ecommerce Site Manager
Shop Indoor Golf is seeking an entrepreneurial minded, tech & marketing savvy individual to join our E-commerce & Marketing Department and build upon the success of this young and growing brand. You will be tasked with building strategies for growth and innovation in the e-commerce space to help take Shop Indoor Golf to the next level. This position is responsible for all aspects of the e-commerce (Shopify) website including high-level strategy, merchandising, conversion optimization, customer journey, web development, site speed, SEO, and more. You will also play a key role to scale our customer acquisition and revenue growth channels with a variety of online and offline marketing tactics. You're a digital marketing professional with experience in A/B testing, website analytics, and UX conversion tactics. Serve as the subject matter expert in digital media & e-commerce strategies to support and champion all segments and digital programs within the brand. You also have e-commerce merchandising experience to improve price, and product SKU mix. This position will collaborate and work cross-functionally with inside/outside sales, product innovation, customer service and operations.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
• Manage the strategies that make online transactions possible.
• Responsible for organizing and developing website marketing plans.
• Responsible to leverage knowledge of traditional as well as digital and social marketing strategy combined with advanced communication skills and analytical abilities to shape new and existing business opportunities.
• Will interact daily with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Develop a strong rapport with internal and external teams through a detailed understanding of all facets within a project, clear and concise communication (written and verbal) and overall level of professionalism.
• Assist in the management of all aspects of marketing campaigns focusing on digital and social execution, calendar management and reporting.
• Oversee processes and timing related to digital and social marketing campaigns.
• Creating extensive SEO-optimized website content, ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles, including homepages, internal landing pages, blogs, and social media content
• Executing SEO initiatives, including site audits, keyword analysis, competitive analysis, on-site code implementation and optimization, and link building.
• Responsible for analyzing campaign results by platform, Consumer Insights Research, and digital metrics to assess performance and generate future improvements.
• Responsible for ongoing competitive analysis to help drive decisions made by the cross-functional team.
• Optimize and scale performance marketing campaigns through rigorously testing landing pages and audience targeting.
• Assist in the development and execution of content strategies, promotional campaigns, and segmentation utilizing web and marketing analytics to maximize conversion, AOV, and customer retention.
• Manage the e-commerce website including the management of all products, user experience, and marketing promotions.
• Support resolution of issues related to data feeds, product, pricing, promotions, content, orders, third-party integrations, etc.
• Partner with web developers/agency to ensure optimal site performance, develop new initiatives, and drive online excellence.
• Reduce ecommerce friction while improving checkout/shopping cart experience by improving on the best product/user experience to delight our consumers.
• Will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to drive initiatives.
• Be a cross-functional problem-solver to support efficiency and growth.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Communications.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups to achieve specific goals.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• 3-5 years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience. Shopify experience a plus.
• Prior knowledge and/or interest in learning HTML a plus.
• A knack to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasks
• Highly analytical and data-driven, ability to make fact-based decisions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Google Apps suite is a must. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google AdWords/Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, WordPress, Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Passion for the game of golf preferred, but not required.
