The Grow Network is the online home of a community of people who are stopping the destruction of the Earth via homegrown food and medicine. We have a blog with daily posts, an eCommerce Shopify Store, Community Forums, Bi-Weekly Digest, and an Online Educational Academy.

This is a full-time contract-to-hire position where you (mostly) determine your own hours. We are looking for Texas residents only.

About you:

You are warm, professional, detail-oriented, with excellent attention to detail. You are highly organized and enjoy implementing efficient processes and procedures. You are technologically savvy. You value clear and concise communication. You work best on your own, but you are great at communicating with the rest of the team. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done. There’s no task too small and too large!

About the role

The Grow Network primarily sells small herbal kits, educational tools, and bulk herbs online to people who want to make their own medicine and grow their own food. Your job will be to implement the design and create sales pages, landing pages, sales funnels, and Shopify products.

Summary of Position:

Report to company Managing Director.

Responsible for the generation of online traffic and sales for all TGN properties, via direct response marketing campaigns, affiliate launches, social media, online funnel building, email marketing, and community building.

Manages and executes the promotional calendar.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Implement high-level company objectives as determined and assigned on an annual basis.

Weekly meetings with Managing Director, Team, and affiliates/vendors as needed.

Create sales pages, landing pages, follow-up sequences, and other marketing collateral for TGN internal and external marketing campaigns.

Design, implement, track, and report on marketing split tests to continually improve conversions.

Manage promotional calendar, as well as give direction for content for the editorial calendar.

Make quarterly projections for gross revenues: track, compare with actual results and report.

Manage sales content on product pages in the company Shopify store.

Manage external affiliate management contractors.

Develop products and funnels focusing on growing company recurring revenue streams via paid subscriptions and memberships.

Grow the email list size via strategic lead magnet campaigns.

Minimum requirements

• A passion for homegrown food and good health (you have a garden, and/or chickens, or you are growing some of your own food in some way).

• 3 years of experience as a marketing manager

• You live in the State of Texas

• Ability to effectively work with a remote team, you communicate clearly and regularly via email, phone, and text as needed.

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills. You are a file naming fanatic.

• Experienced with Office365 (word, excel, powerpoint) and Outlook coordinated company email and calendaring, Slack, Ontraport, Shopify, Deadline funnel, and Thrive builder.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting at $4K per month, initially on a contract basis and moving into a full-time team position once the probationary period is complete. Once you’re a full-time team member, your salary increases to $5K per month.
