At zero5, our mission is to build a central platform that connects spaces, vehicles, and service providers. We are starting with building technologies that transform existing parking garages from simple storage spaces into a tech-enabled mobility hub for all vehicles from level 0 to level 5 autonomy.

💻 About the role
We are looking for a full-stack engineer to come in as an early member of our growing team to design and build products that will make immediate impact to our everyday life. RE: Location - Our ideal candidate is based in SF Bay Area and is comfortable with a hybrid working approach (50% remote, 50% in-person) once it's safe to do so. However, we're also willing to consider exceptional candidates based anywhere in North America who are able to work on Pacific Time.

🎮 What you will do

• Own multiple front-end web app (hosted online and Electron) & design and build scalable infrastructure to drive existing and new features
• Build and lead big parts of the product from scratch as one of our first in-house engineers
• Help establish and implement best practices (frameworks, testing, CI, code reviews, etc.) to lay the foundation for a high-performing technology team
• Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code
• Work closely with our CTO to design and build reliable and resilient products
• Work closely with CEO and COO to understand customer requirements to create thoughtful solutions

☝️ You!

• Have 3+ years of experience building applications with React, NodeJS, and Typescript
• Are a self-starter, whether that's a startup, an open-source project, a side project, or a business
• Have a solid understanding and real experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Are comfortable having little support structure but know what it looks like and feel empowered to build it

➕Bonus points:

• Experience with B2B SaaS product
• Experience building applications with Python
• Startup experience, or experience thriving in an unstructured, ambiguous environment
